15 May, Thursday 6 PM, dinner 7 PM - Sarasota Bay Republican Club is hosting an evening of "Sarasota Then and Now" with Senator Lisa Carlton, Sheriff Bill Balkwill and Public Defender Elliott Metcalfe at the Sarasota Yacht Club. Cost per person is $35.00. Republican candidates are free. Moderating the program will be Jim Tollerton, a long-time friend of the Carlton's. Since all three guests are leaving office, they will reminisce on their past experiences. Candidates running for local offices will also be highlighted during the evening.
